Draft. This text was written on 25 October 2026 and is not final yet. It can change before nextup opens to the public.
Moderation
How nextup decides what comes down, and every decision it has made, in public.
The log
Every removal, restore, restriction, veto, suspension, ban and change to a public setting is listed here with its date and reason. It never names who reported something, and it does not name members. The totals for each month are on the transparency page.
Nothing has been decided yet.
Reporting something
Every video has a Report link. Anyone can use it, with or without an account. You can report something as illegal, or as against the terms. A person reads every report; nothing on nextup is decided automatically.
If you give an email address, you get a confirmation and later our decision. We keep a report for 2 years after the decision, then delete it, with your name and email address.
What we tell the people involved
When we take something down or out of the streams, the member who posted it gets a statement of reasons: what we did, the facts we relied on, the law or the rule of the terms it breaks, that a person decided, and how to appeal. The person who reported it gets our decision too. The owner's own picks have nobody else to tell.
Appeals
Both the member and the person who reported can appeal a decision once, within six months (183 days), through the link in our email. A person looks at it again. If the decision is reversed, that shows up here as a new entry. You can always take the matter to court instead.
